Making Research Accessible
The International Journal of Teaching and Learning is committed to open access publishing. Our vision is to make published research accessible to a larger academic audience, comprising professors, lecturers, teachers, students and readers who are interested in teaching and learning development.
We think that research on education can be more effective if it is easily found, read and used.
Our Open Access Approach
The articles are made available online to readers without requiring a registration or payment to be made for the access to the full text, subject to the terms and conditions of the journal.
Open access provides readers with the following rights:
- Read published articles online without subscription barriers.
- Download and use articles for academic and educational purposes.
- Discover research from different areas of teaching and learning.
- Share links to published research with colleagues and students.
- Build further research and discussion around published findings.
Author Rights
Authors have the proper rights to their scholarly publications per the journal's publication and licensing policies.
Authors are encouraged to share responsibly their published research and state the original publication when their research is reused, referenced, or distributed.
Copyright and Licensing
It is clearly communicated with the published article that there are copyright and licensing arrangements. Reproducers, distributors and adapters of published material are advised to read the applicable licence terms before reproducing, distributing or adapting published material.
If published content is reused, it is expected it will be properly acknowledged as the work of the original author and publication.
Responsible Use of Published Research
Open access doesn't take away the responsibility of scholarly good use. Readers should properly cite published work and respect the rights of authors and other copyright holders.
In addition to adherence to the highest standards of academic integrity, the journal aims for responsible research and publication practices of the authors.
